Most pieces are dispatched within 1-3 working days. Made to order items ship within the timescale noted on each product page. If you need something by a specific date, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

We never charge more for postage and packaging than it costs us. DHL Express rates are automatically updated for each country in line with the rates we pay. Royal Mail charges are based on an average of our actual costs, and we offer a complimentary service for UK customers.

It’s important to us that your order arrives quickly and securely. Please see our delivery options below.

Import Taxes and Duties

USA
All duties and taxes are included in the price you see - there will be nothing extra to pay on arrival.

EU & International Orders (outside the UK and USA)
International orders may be subject to additional customs or import duty charges, depending on the destination country. These costs are not covered by us, and unfortunately, we cannot advise the exact amount in advance. For clarity, we recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an order.

If a parcel is refused by the customer, we are charged for both the original shipping and a return fee. In this case, we are unable to refund the original postage. Any re-shipments once the parcel is returned to us will also incur an additional charge.

We appreciate your understanding and hope this helps make our policy clear prior to shipping.

You will receive a confirmation email when your order has been processed and dispatched.

Occasionally when travelling so far, there may be delays which occur that are out of our control.

Packaging

All BAR Jewellery orders are packaged using sustainable or recycled materials. In some cases there may be small packaging components where we have been unable to successfully find a sustainable solution, but we are constantly searching to improve and develop where this is the case. Our packaging is all fully recyclable. 

Please be assured that if you are ordering an item as a gift, our packaging is very discreet! Aside from essential address information that we must to supply to the courier, there is no visible branding on the outside of our packages. When we notice that an item is a gift, we will not include an invoice within the box.

Pieces are carefully packed in a branded jewellery box, which is packed securely inside a mailing box.

Note that items in our sample sale are packed in tissue paper rather than our branded boxes. Boxes will be used when gift wrapping is selected.

Delayed Orders

Whilst we our best to ensure quick delivery, very occasionally packages can get delayed in transit/international customs. In these rare cases we'll keep you as updated as possible. If your order is taking longer than expected please contact us: info@barjewellery.com

Returns Process

Please contact info@barjewellery.com within 14 days of receiving your item, quoting your order number to arrange a return or exchange or for any questions regarding this.

If you have bought an item from one of our stockists, please return the item to them directly as we cannot process returns from 3rd parties.


• Returns and exchanges are accepted upon written request within 14 days of the receipt of your order.

• If you change your mind or would like an exchange, we will not be responsible for return postage costs.

• If on the rare occasion an is faulty, we will provide a postage label for the customer to return the item. If you change your mind about your order, we will ask you to pay for your return, unfortunately as a small business we are simply unable to offer free returns in all cases.


• Goods should be returned in their original, unworn condition and in full undamaged packaging.


• Refunds are credited only to the card used in the original sales transaction.


• Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving your returned item.

For any and all occurrences where an item is returned to Bar Jewellery by the Customer, we strongly recommend packing the item using sturdy packaging (eg a box or original packaging) and using a secure and tracked service to return the goods to us, insured to the full value of the order. Bar Jewellery Ltd cannot accept responsibility for any items lost, stolen or damaged in transit. This responsibility lies with the customer.

For international returns, please refer to the above but also take special care to ensure that you correctly mark the goods as a ‘Return shipment to origin’, on any customs declaration form. This will ensure that no extra fees are incurred. Do not assume that the courier will do this on your behalf, please contact us if you are unsure and we will do our best to help.

On the occasion that an item is incorrectly marked and a fee is incurred, this may be passed on to the customer and will delay the returns process.

    Damaged items

    Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and resolve it as soon as possible. Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us and we will go above and beyond to resolve any issues.

    Non returnable items

    In accordance with UK law, for hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns for earrings. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

    Exchanges

    The fastest way to exchange for a different product is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. However, if you would like to exchange an item for a different size, please let us know and we will organise this for you.

    Please note that when requesting an exchange, unless we have the new piece in stock, it may take up to 14 days for us to produce.

    Refunds

    We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

    Order Cancellation

    Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been dispatched. Your order is generally placed and processed immediately, so you may not be able to make any amendments. In this instance, you would need to return your order once you have received it, in accordance with our Returns Policy. Please request a cancellation or return by emailing info@barjewellery.com.

    Warranty

    Every piece of our jewellery is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase subject to normal conditions of "wear and tear". Delivery costs apply.


    How the piece is worn and cared for significantly affects its finish over time. We recommend that you follow our instructions for How to care for your jewellery. Any items with significant wear and tear, or where our instructions have not been followed will not be included in your warranty.

    Re-plating is not included in your warranty although we do offer a Re-plating and Re-polishing service, charged at reasonable rates on most styles. Pieces adjusted by a person or company other than BAR Jewellery Ltd or for any reason other than a manufacturing fault, will not be covered by the warranty.
